“Animals” was the tenth studio album produced by the band and was loosely based on George Orwell’s 1984.
Here, signed by all of the band members – Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Dave Gilmour and the late Rick Wright, in gold marker pen, it is a rare piece of “ Prog Rock “ memorabilia, beautifully framed and mounted for easy display. Roger Waters was responsible for the album cover; at the time he lived near the iconic Battersea Power Station; later, and to launch this album an enormous pig shaped inflatable balloon was launched over London to peoples’ amazement in the local area. Containing the songs “Pigs” , “Sheep” and “Dogs” it is undoubtedly a political commentary on society as viewed by Roger Waters.
